オンラインローカル広告の有効性を実証するケースが実は国内に存在します。
それは、「ぐるなび」というグルメ情報検索サイトです。知っている人は、一度は利用したことがあるのではないでしょうか？特に首都圏では非常によく活用されているようです。それもあってか、先ごろヘラクレスに上場しております。

これは、まさにオンラインローカル広告雛形ともいえるモデルです。
ユーザー（消費者）はパソコン、もしくは携帯からサイトにアクセスし、場所や価格を主な基準として検索をかけて店舗を選びます。ぐるなびに登録している店舗はほとんどクーポンなどを用意しており、ユーザーはぐるなびを見てきたと言えば、割引があったりします。
これによって、店舗への集客力が増すと同時に目に見える効果が得られるわけです。

IT先進国と思われていたアメリカですが、実は、いつの間にか立場が逆転しているような気もします。ここ5年間の間に日本におけるインターネット普及率から見ても、またネットビジネスの成熟度合いから言っても既にアメリカのそれを超えてしまっているのではないでしょうか。このケースだけを見るとそんな気さえ覚えます。
